Wed July 13 | In-Person & Online / Scene study with Ani + Agent showcase
Dive into scene study and acting technique with Casting Director & Producer Ani Avetyan over 4-weeks of training, plus a bonus showcase to a Talent Agent on the final class!
You can choose to attend online via Zoom OR in-person at our Los Angeles studio. Ani is known for casting 14 years of TNT's hit show, "The Closer," and its spinoff "Major Crimes." She also loves to teach and mentor actors!
CLASS SCHEDULE:
✭ CLASS 1 of 4 ✭
Wednesday, July 13:
Ani will provide you cold scenes to choose from and present. Ani will also give feedback on your photo and resume. You will develop the skills and technique to bring characters to life and learn more about your "type" and characters that fit you best.
✭ CLASS 2 of 4 ✭
Wednesday, July 20:
Ani will choose a comedy or drama genre for you to focus on, with a new scene for you to prepare and present in a mock-audition setting. You will receive constructive feedback and this class will focus on audition technique.
✭ CLASS 3 of 4 ✭
Wednesday, July 27:
You will perform the same scene from the second class, this time having previously rehearsed with Ani's notes in mind. Ani will give final feedback on your acting and also discuss your character's outfit choice and props/presentation.
✭ CLASS 4 of 4 ✭
Wednesday, Aug 3:
You will perform your scene for a special guest LA Talent Agent that represents actors for Hollywood films and television. The agent will share brief verbal feedback and professional advice along with Ani. This class will wrap with a group Q&A session with both VIPs.
Ani’s additional casting credits include Hellcasts, Primo, Leaving Barstow, Homecoming, Stalkers, Emily Owens MD, Holiday Spin, School and Board, Trust Me, Twenty Good Years and Bad Teacher. Recently, Ani had her directing debut with the Los Angeles production of “The Understudy” at the Hudson Guild Theatre.
