This past Saturday, El Centro Theatre in Hollywood was filled with laughter and purpose as Studio For Performing Arts LA presented two one-act comedy plays, Breaking Badly and Meet the Roommates.
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2 comedies for the benefit of The California Fire Foundation!

Directed by Jon Taylor and produced by Walid Chaya, the Founder and Director of Studio For Performing Arts LA, the event highlighted a diverse and talented group of actors while championing a worthy cause. The proceeds from the performance were donated to the California Fire Foundation, providing essential support to firefighters, their families, and fire-impacted communities, as well as to the studio’s Diversity Scholarship Fund.

The afternoon kicked off with Breaking Badly, a comedy by Jonathan Rand. The play centers on Lily, who arrives at "The Breakup Center," a quirky service specializing in unconventional and often outrageous methods for ending relationships. From reverse psychology and legal consultations to something as simple as a well-chosen emoji, the story kept the audience entertained and laughing from start to finish.
