Walid Chaya Directs MENASA Showcase at SPALA x HAFF Collaboration

Incredible time at the Hollywood Arab Film Festival! Proud that my studio, Studio for Performing Arts LA, and the  Performing Arts Foundation collaborated with the festival to present the 4th Annual MENASA Showcase at Culver City Theatre. It was truly an honor to direct the showcase and bring together such a talented and inspiring group of artists from across the country.

The entire weekend was a meaningful celebration of culture, storytelling, representation, and community. From the red carpet to the screenings, panels, conversations, and live performances, it was incredible to witness so many artists and filmmakers coming together to share their work, support one another, and amplify MENASA and SWANA voices in film and television.

Grateful to everyone who participated in the showcase, attended the festival, and helped make the experience so memorable. Special thanks to the Hollywood Arab Film Festival team, the industry professionals, and all of the collaborators who contributed their time, energy, and support throughout the weekend.
