Free Online Open Call! Submit for your chance to perform and be seen by top film and television professionals in our 3rd annual online MENASA Diversity Showcase!
Open to performers of MENASA-SWANA descent who are at least 9 years old and legally able to work in the US.
Celebrate diversity and join us in raising the acting profile and visibility of MENASA performers by showcasing your talent. This is a unique and impactful online diversity initiative aimed at providing a platform for actors of Middle Eastern, North African, South Asian, and Southwest Asian (MENASA-SWANA) descent.
Our 3rd annual event is produced by Studio For Performing Arts LA and the 2021 BroadwayWorld Regional Awards "Best Special Event" winner, in collaboration with the MENA Arts Advocacy Coalition (MAAC) and with the support of the Casting Society of America (CSA).
Only submit once. Booking does not guarantee selection to perform. Participants will be chosen at random and emailed if selected.

✭ Even if you're not chosen to perform a monologue, your information will still be shared with industry professionals. This gives you access to potential opportunities, as space is limited. You will also receive scholarship offers and special resources from Studio For Performing Arts LA.

Performers must be:
a) of MENASA-SWANA descent
b) at least 9 years old
c) legally able to work in the US
Multiple submissions for the current showcase will be ignored. Submit this form only once per year for our annual showcase.
April 12, 2023 at 10:00am Pacific Time.
On April 14, 2023, notification of selection status will be sent via email.

By April 16, 2023 at 10:00am Pacific Time, selected actors will need to submit a one-minute monologue performance in a self-taped video upon notification.
On Saturday, April 22 at 10:00am Pacific Time monologues will be streamed as a YouTube Premiere on our channel at youtube.com/@studioforperformingarts and the video will remain available on our channel for viewing anytime.
