LESSON PLANS FOR VIP THOMAS SULLIVAN
Agenda:
- Course & Topic Intro/Lecture
Students will focus on the Business of Acting "Do's & Don'ts" during the audition process, the importance of networking and what it takes for performers to be viewed as professionals.
- Scene work with coaching and redirection
Students will engage in an intensive scene study and discover complex character qualities and nuances in their scene through coaching with the instructor as well as how to apply their performance framed for an audition.
For classes studying "prepared sides," instructor will provide each student with a unique scene tailored to his/her/their ‘type’ 1-2 days in advanced. Students should prepare the assigned scene to their best ability. Each student will work one-on-one, reading the scene with teacher, and receive specific and constructive feedback.
- Question & Answer Session Students will participate in a dynamic group Q&A session. All answers reflect the instructors specific opinions.
- Goal Setting & Wrap Up
The instructor will share closing remarks with a brief recap on frequently addressed acting notes and industry topics studied during the class session.
