Matt Beurois, Award-Winning Director & Scriptwriter, joins Walid to discuss content creation for actors from developing demo reels to original films.
Many aspiring actors have a hard time booking roles or finding an agent without significant demo footage from film and television roles. It's a Catch-22 which Matt and Walid have alternative solutions to have your demo reel created.
Creating your original short film, pilot, web series or even feature can also advance your career. Matt and Walid will discuss ways to get started with filmmaking and working with film festivals.
Matt's feature directorial debut "The Barn", starring Ken Samuels (OSS 117) and Guillaume Faure (Marvel Doctor Strange), was released in 2018. His second feature "American Game" starring Jansen Panettiere (shot before the Covid pandemic) is in post production.
He is credited to more than 50 films, TV shows and productions including the French version of Masterchef, biopic documentaries, and award winning drama such as Little Wing (TIFF) or At War (Cannes Palme d'Or nominee).
He is the founder and current general manager of the Paris Art and Movie Awards, the largest independent Film Festival in Paris, France. The festival celebrates 10 years in 2020. Branches are established in Los Angeles, Sante Fe and Nashville.
